Aesthetic Medicine

All our esthetic treatments are FDA approved and clinically proven. At Medex Clinic, we focus on revitalizing our patients with a more youthful and invigorating appearance. Starting with initial consultation, our cosmetic treatments are administered by a highly trained Board Certified physician, Dr. Asim Nouman.
As we age, our skin becomes deficient in some of the important components which are responsible for keeping the skin’s integrity. Therefore, our skin becomes more prone to fine lines and wrinkles.
We use the following 2 products to reduce skin wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin.

Wrinkles reduction:

Frown lines and crow’s feet form when facial expressions are made as the muscle under the skin contracts. Over time, as your skin ages, these repeated expressions cause lasting frown lines. Neurotoxins, such as Xeomin®, are prescription medications that block the release of chemicals that cause these muscle contractions, so frown lines are softened.

Belotero Balance (+) injectable gel integrates directly into the skin. This helps to enhance skin by smoothing stubborn etched-in lines and wrinkles

IPL—Intense Pulse Light:
Intense Pulsed Light treatment (IPL), is a procedure that treats a combination of changes in the skin, such as premature aging caused by exposure to the sun resulting in damage such as pigmentation and vascular damage. The gentle, non-ablative treatments use broad spectrum light to treat the face, chest, neck and hands—virtually anywhere that sun damage shows.
IPL treatments can be used to help restore the skin’s youthful appearance, such as:
⦁ Photo rejuvenation/Photofacial
⦁ Permanent Hair Reduction
⦁ Rosacea
⦁ Acne Photoaged skin
⦁ Removes age spots (sun-induced freckles)
⦁ Most benign brown pigments, and
⦁ Redness caused by broken capillaries through a process called photorejuvenation for face and body. (The process is ideal for patients with active lifestyles because the procedure requires no downtime and has a low risk of side effects).

Several appealing qualities of IPL Treatment using Photorejuvenation result in very high levels of patient satisfaction.
⦁ IPL treatments are quick, gentle and non-invasive.
⦁ There is no interruption of routine activities.
⦁ By helping to remove the age spots (sun-induced freckles) and broken capillaries, the result is overall more even, luminous, younger looking skin.
Patients can see dramatic results within a very short time. A broad spectrum of light is transmitted through a small, smooth, transparent handpiece which is gently placed over the skin. Cut-off filters in the handpiece change the wavelength range allowing it to be optimized for different applications and skin types. The light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by either the blood when treating vascular lesions or the melanin when treating pigmented lesions damaging them. The body’s natural processes then remove the tissue giving the skin a more even and youthful appearance.
IPL Skin Treatments using Photorejuvenation often consist of full-face treatment or treatment of isolated body areas like the hands or chest. The treatment regimen typically consists of: 4-6 treatments administered at 3 week intervals

⦁ Decreases the appearance of scarring,
⦁ Decreases pore size,
⦁ Sun spots
