Aesthetic Medicine All our esthetic treatments are FDA approved and clinically proven. Aesthetic Medicine At Medex Clinic, we focus on revitalizing our patients with a more youthful and invigorating appearance. Starting with initial consultation, our cosmetic treatments are administered by a highly trained Board Certified physician, Dr. Asim Nouman.
As we age, our skin becomes deficient in some of the important components which are responsible for keeping the skin’s integrity. Therefore, our skin becomes more prone to fine lines and wrinkles.
We use the following 2 products to reduce skin wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin.

Wrinkles reduction:

XEOMIN®
Frown lines and crow’s feet form when facial expressions are made as the muscle under the skin contracts. Over time, as your skin ages, these repeated expressions cause lasting frown lines. Neurotoxins, such as Xeomin®, are prescription medications that block the release of chemicals that cause these muscle contractions, so frown lines are softened.

BELORETO BALANCE®

Belotero Balance (+) injectable gel integrates directly into the skin. This helps to enhance skin by smoothing stubborn etched-in lines and wrinkles

IPL—Intense Pulse Light:

Intense Pulsed Light treatment (IPL), is a procedure that treats a combination of changes in the skin, such as premature aging caused by exposure to the sun resulting in damage such as pigmentation and vascular damage. The gentle, non-ablative treatments use broad spectrum light to treat the face, chest, neck and hands—virtually anywhere that sun damage shows.

HOW IPL Works
Patients can see dramatic results within a very short time. A broad spectrum of light is transmitted through a small, smooth, transparent handpiece which is gently placed over the skin. Cut-off filters in the handpiece change the wavelength range allowing it to be optimized for different applications and skin types. The light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by either the blood when treating vascular lesions or the melanin when treating pigmented lesions damaging them. The body’s natural processes then remove the tissue giving the skin a more even and youthful appearance.
IPL Skin Treatments using Photorejuvenation often consist of full-face treatment or treatment of isolated body areas like the hands or chest. The treatment regimen typically consists of: 4-6 treatments administered at 3 week intervals

It is one of the easiest and most effective treatments you can get for aged skin, pigmentation and tired, devitalised skin. Its benefits are many:

⦁ Microderm softens fine lines and wrinkles,
⦁ Helps to smooth coarsely textured skin,
⦁ Decreases the appearance of scarring,
⦁ Decreases pore size,
⦁ Sun spots
⦁ Blemishes
⦁ Reduces superficial hyper-pigmentation, also known as age spots.
Microdermabrasion also makes it easier for high-tech skin care products to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and help build collagen, which gives skin its youthful appearance. You will notice a difference even after your first treatment.
The healing process brings with it newer skin cells that look and feel smoother AND MAKES YOU LOOK YOUNGER AND BEAUTIFUL. Technology of Microdermabrasion: Microdermabrasion is essentially powerful exfoliation with an expensive machine, generally the new diamond-tip microdermabrasion technology.
Diamond Microdermabrasion: Growing in popularity is the new diamond-tip microdermabrasion. It achieves the same results but with less discomfort and without the crystal residue at the end of the treatment.

Microdermabrasion can achieve dramatic results. For the best results, it is generally recommended get a series of treatments. Your esthetician should be able to recommend the number that is appropriate for your skin type and condition. A typical protocol is 6 to 8 treatments about 2-4 weeks apart. Because the machine can be adjusted depending on skin type and condition, even people with sensitive skin can get a treatment with microdermabrasion.
Lunchtime peel: Microdermabrasion usually takes about 20-30 minutes and there’s no down-time for the skin to recover. That’s why it’s also sometimes called a “lunchtime peel.”
How Microdermabrasion Works: Diamond-tip microdermabrasion uses the vacuum technology and hand-held wand, and the diamond tip itself exfoliates the skin and the vacuum whisks the dead skin away. Diamond-tip microdermabrasion is much less uncomfortable, and also better for sensitive skin.
